I've published this double spread on the pages of the eye-poping Nobrow 3 magazine, the 'Topsy Turvy' edition. Beautifully printed in spot colours, it features inverted worlds and absurd realities brough by the pens, pencils and minds of a team of graphic artists from around the globe. The cover is by one of my favourites: Atak, german force of the nature! Nobrow 3 is out now and can be found on the best art and design bookstores or can be ordered online here.
Publiquei recentemente na bela revista Nobrow 3, cujo tema é 'Topsy Turvy', ou seja, mundos absurdos, realidades invertidas, tudo bizarro! Impressa em spot colours (camadas de tinta Pantone), o efeito é similar a de antigas impressões litográficas, o que faz da revista um doce para os olhos dos apreciadores das artes gráficas... A capa acima é do Atak, artista alemão da pá virada que é um dos meus favoritos. A revista pode ser encomendada aqui.

Just seen my card on this book The Best of Business Card Design 9. It was made in letterpress at Camberwell College of Arts, using scraps of Hahnemüehle paper. Letterpress is quite a hard work but the result pays off. No wonder it is becoming fashionable in these digital days. Thanks James at the letterpress workshop for the help!
Acabei de ver meu cartão no anuário americano The Best of Business Card Design 9. O cartão foi feito em letterpress no Camberwell College em Londres, usando rebarbas de papel Hahnemüehle resgatadas do lixo da distribuidora de papel. Letterpress é conhecido no Brasil como 'gráfica tipográfica' ou 'tipografia', e gráficas como essa desaparecem a cada dia que passa no Brasil junto com os velhinhos que faziam elas funcionarem - apesar de várias iniciativas de artistas resgatando a tradição. Na europa e nos EUA a tipografia tem visto uma espécie de renascimento atualmente.
