Hello. I’m a visual artist from Curitiba, Brazil, based in Berlin since 2017, after spending eleven years in London. My work is often considered diverse, in terms of language and techniques. Still it is mostly rooted in the fields of graphic arts and visual narrative. I’ve worked for 15 years as a freelance illustrator for a wide range of clients, while in parallel I’ve explored different creative routes: I’ve wrote and drawn short and long comics, children’s books - published internationally - and collaborated with professionals from various fields.

Since arriving in Berlin, I dedicate most of my studio time to painting, a work that can be seen on my dedicated website asoutrascores.com . I also make zines and occasionally run workshops for kids as also adults.

I’m currently on a six-month artist residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, where I’m developing a graphic narrative that explores the theme of art and mental health, a project supported by the Berlin Department of Culture.
