Moonlight Euphoria

Moonlight Euphoria is a series of paintings made in 2024, exploring a fantastical natural world where the sensual aspect of forms enters into dialogue with itself and its surroundings.

Conceived partly as an antidote to the harsh Berlin winter, the works led me to explore the gestual possibilities of translating drawing to painting, approaching the image through a language reminiscent of calligraphy or sign painting. The series was first presented as part of the Minimesh show at Gelegenheiten, a characterful independent space in Berlin, and later received its own solo exhibition at Galerie Kungerkiez.
